Students with special needs
I have a commitment wherever possible to provide access to learning for any student who desires to learn music. I believe it is the right of all to learn to make music, whatever the obstacles.
With those objectives in mind I am open to teach students with special educational needs, physical disability or mental disorder. My home is reasonably accessible for the student with physical disabilities, and where practical I will make every effort to further enable access and mobility within the teaching area to suit a particular need.
I have experience of teaching people with all manner of physical disabilities, including blindness, deafness, missing digits. I have dealt with students with Autism, and many with special educational needs, including dyslexia and other learning difficulties
Whatever your needs, please call me to discuss in confidence your lessons, and how best I can meet your needs
Carers are always welcome to accompany and stay with students during the lessons.
